Parking restrictions

Dear parents,

In spite of repeated requests, parking in front of the school, on the road and on the verges, continues to cause concern in relation to the safety of the children coming to school.

We are required to remind you that under the by-laws fo the City Council the area at the front of the school on Renmore Avenue is strictly a NO PARKING AREA and is marked with double lines.

The safety and welfare of the children must be our principal concern, therefore, we request you to abide by these by-laws at all times.

Parking for the school is available in the church car park.

A range of sanctions including clamping is being investigated by the Board of Management in order to deal with the issue.

Junior Achievement Awards

Children from Scoil Chaitríona Junior present certificates to the GMIT volunteers who took park in the Junior Achievement Enterprise and Life Skills Programme.

There will be no early closing on Friday, 13th May or Friday 4th March 

June bank holiday:  We are off on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.  Back to school again on Wednesday 8th June.
