Green School Flag Presentation

On May 19th , two representatives from the Green School Committee were accompanied to the Radisson Hotel, Galway for the Green School Flag Presentation Ceremony. The school was awarded its fourth flag. We have already received flags for completing the litter and waste theme, energy theme and water theme. Over the last two years , the school staff and pupils have worked on the travel theme under the guidance of the Committee.
It is a huge achievement for a junior school and we are very proud of our pupils for
the hard work and dedication to the cause. Also, we are grateful for the support of parents during the various travel themed initiatives during this time.
We look forward to our brand new flag flying high outside our school as a sign of the effort our staff and pupils make every day to make our school a better place.
